Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the explosive power of the upper and lower extremities among fourth-grade students. It also aimed to identify the level of handball shooting accuracy among fourth-grade students, and to identify the correlation between the explosive power of the upper and lower extremities and long jump scoring accuracy among fourth-grade students. The research population was selected from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Future University for the 2024-2025 academic year. A sample of 20 students was selected using a simple random method from a total of 200 students, representing 10% of the total. The study reached a number of results, the most important of which was the presence of a high positive correlation between the study variables. After discussing and analyzing the results, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which are Fourth-grade players enjoy a high level of explosive power of the upper and lower extremities. Fourth-grade players enjoy a high level of handball scoring accuracy. The study recommended the need to pay attention to students' physical fitness, emphasizing the elements of muscular strength in general and explosive strength in particular.
