Manar Elsharq Journal for Literature and Language Studies (MEJLLS) is an international peer-reviewed online journal. The aim of this journal is to promote a principled approach to research on literature and language-related concerns by encouraging enquiry into relationship between theoretical and practical studies. The journal welcomes contributions in such areas of current analysis in: English language teaching, linguistics, and literary studies, discourse analysis, language in education, language planning, language testing, curriculum design and development, multilingualism, and multilingual education.

Manuscripts submitted to (MEJLLS) go through an internal review and if they meet the basic requirements, they are sent out for double blind review from experts in the field, either from the editorial board or identified reviewers. Comments from the external reviewers are sent to the authors and they are notified of the journal’s decision (accept, accept with revisions, reject). This entire review process takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks after submission of manuscript.
