The extent of the influence of new media on educational values ​​since the beginning of schools


The study aimed to reveal the reality of the impact of new media on educational values ​​in early childhood schools from the point of view of early childhood teachers, and to know the requirements for benefiting from new media in shaping positive educational values ​​for children in early childhood schools. The study used the descriptive survey method and the questionnaire tool. Which was applied to a sample of (332) early childhood school teachers in the cities of Dammam and Al-Khobar. The study reached results, the most important of which are:


- The child’s use of new media tools helps develop the values ​​of cooperation, initiative, self-reliance, and love of work.


- The continuous use of new media tools affects the child’s indifference to losing relationships with others.


The highest percentage of responses from sample members came to the statement providing training courses for teachers on how to use new media applications to develop children’s educational values.


- In light of the findings of the study in its theoretical framework, it recommends the following:


Enhancing the positive impact of new media on the educational values ​​of early childhood school children, strengthening the child’s relationships with those around him and keeping him away from isolation, strengthening belonging to society and taking pride in the customs and values ​​of society by carrying out group activities and celebrating social, religious, and national occasions.
