Abstract
This study examines the impact of the PETTLEP model-based imagery intervention on passing accuracy and collective fast break performance among female handball players at Al-Khalis Sports Club. Imagery intervention, a modern mental training method, enhances motor imagery and improves technical and tactical performance, essential for effective offensive play. Using a one-group experimental design with pre- and post-tests, the research involved 14 players, with 12 forming the main sample after excluding two for irregular attendance. A pilot study ensured test validity. Post-intervention data analysis via SPSS showed the effectiveness of the imagery training in enhancing players' performance. Recommendations include integrating imagery training in women's handball club practices and exploring its effects on various skills and age groups to further validate its benefits.
