Journal of Physical Education and Public Health (JPEPH) ISSN 3007-2824(Online) is an open access international journal dedicated to the dissemination of scholarship about the recent development in physical education and public health. The Journal has a particular focus on physical education and sport research-based articles (approximately 7000 words) that make reference to other critical work in the field and/or discuss particular issues of practice-focused research within the specific professional fields of health, sport and physical education. The Editorial team will privilege those articles that explore and provide a depth of understanding of the complex inter-relationship between developing/improving practice through the production of knowledge. The Journal will focus on the forms, contents and contexts of health education, sport and physical education as they relate to schools, universities and other forms of educational provision. It also accepts research articles devoted to the explorations of public health policies and awareness.

Manuscripts submitted for publication consideration in the Journal of Physical Education and Public Health (JPEPH) go through an internal review and if they meet the basic requirements, they are sent out for double-blind review from experts in the field, either from the editorial board or identified reviewers. Comments from the external reviewers are sent to the authors and they are notified of the journal’s decision (accept, accept with revisions, reject). This entire review process takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks after the submission of the manuscript.
